The Light of Qur’an in Young Voices
Are you ready to see your children reciting and memorizing the Holy Qur’an with proper pronunciation and confidence?
We are honored to invite you to attend and witness our first Qur’an competition for children ages 5–15 this Friday, December 5th, 2025, Inshā’Allāh.
This blessed gathering is more than just a competition—it is a celebration of our children’s connection to the Book of Allah. It highlights the importance of encouraging them to join Qur’an classes, learn from highly qualified teachers, and develop correct recitation, memorization, and a foundational understanding of the Qur’an. You can register your child in the Quran Academy program at https://mohid.co/go/jK92VZo.
The Role of Parents
Parents’ support and engagement remain essential for their children’s success. Incentives, encouragement, and appreciation help motivate our young learners to continue their journey and grow up connected to the Holy Qur’an.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī)
He also said:
“Every one of you is a shepherd, and every one of you will be asked about his flock.” (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim)
This reminds us that parents carry a sacred responsibility to nurture their children’s spiritual growth.
Our Responsibility
Dear brothers and sisters, it is time we take the upbringing—education and tarbiyah—of our children very seriously. Allah Ta‘ālā has entrusted our children to us as an amānah to guide, protect, and support throughout their lives.
Allah says:
“O you who believe! Protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones.” (Sūrat al-Taḥrīm 66:6)
He also says:
“And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?” (Sūrat al-Qamar 54:17)
This verse reminds us that the Qur’an is accessible for our children to learn, provided we give them the right environment and encouragement.
The Qur’an Academy Program
The educational program at the Qur’an Academy is designed to instill love, interest, and understanding of the Qur’an by learning in an environment connected to the masjid.
These efforts rely on your continued financial support, encouragement, and active participation. Together, we can nurture a generation that grows up with confidence, discipline, and a lifelong bond with the Qur’an.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever recites the Qur’an and acts upon it, his parents will be made to wear a crown whose light will be like the light of the sun.” (Sunan Abī Dāwūd, Musnad Aḥmad)
This hadith shows the immense reward awaiting parents who guide their children toward the Qur’an.
A Prayer for Our Children
We pray that Allah Ta‘ālā helps us fulfill our responsibilities toward ourselves and our children and blesses them with a lifelong connection to His Book. May He make them among those who recite the Qur’an beautifully, live by its guidance, and teach it to others.
Join us this Friday, December 5th, 2025, Inshā’Allāh, and be part of this blessed milestone.
