PARKING POLICY

Islamic Center of Riverside (ICR)

The Islamic Center of Riverside is committed to providing safe and easy access to those coming to the center for salah and other programs.  Given our limited parking space availability onsite, it is important the visitors follow appropriate parking guidelines to allow for the masjid to provide good services to all our attendees.  Please make a note of the masjid parking restrictions below:

1. The main parking areas between the masjid and the Islamic Academy is dedicated for short term parking, for the people who come for daily prayers, the schoolteachers and parents dropping off and picking up students. No other long-term parking is permitted.

2. The parking adjacent to the main Masjed parking lot is also for ICR and to be used like the main parking for daily, weekly, and special occasions.

3. The parking across the Masjed at 1045 Linden St is for the ICR as well.  The UCR MSA members with a valid permit issued by ICR is authorized to park during the school year.  Properly displayed valid parking permit is required to avoid the car being towed.

4. No overnight parking at ICR is permitted.  Exception to overnight parking on rare occasion may be made.  Please email parking@masjidriverside.org or call (951) 732-7641 if you need the permission to leave your car overnight due to an emergency.  All cars parked overnight without authorization may be towed away at the owner’s expense.

5. The gate to the masjid will be open 30 minutes before Fajr and will be closed one hour after Isha, unless there is a special program.

6. The ICR is not responsible for any accident, damage, or theft of any vehicle or its content at any parking lot.

7. All cars parked in violation of this policy may be towed at the owner's expense with no prior warning.
