The Islamic Center of Riverside (ICR) is honored to support couples seeking to begin their lives together through a blessed and Islamically sound marriage. Whether you are preparing for a Nikah ceremony, seeking premarital guidance, or looking for community referrals, our team is here to help.
Our Marriage Services
📜 Nikah Ceremony
ICR provides Nikah services for couples who wish to be married according to Islamic tradition. Ceremonies may be performed at the masjid or at an approved off‑site location.

Requirements for Nikah
- Valid government‑issued ID for both bride and groom
- Two Muslim witnesses
- Agreed‑upon Mahr (dowry)
- Marriage license from the County of Riverside
- Both parties must consent freely and willingly
Important: Marriage must be registered with the Riverside County Clerk in order to be legally recognized by the State of California. The Islamic Center of Riverside does not issue civil marriage licenses.
Faith‑Based Counseling & Referrals
The ICR Director may provide informal, faith‑based counseling on marriage and family matters and may be able to provide referrals to licensed marriage counselors, family mediation services, Islamic marital guidance, or local Muslim therapists.

Scheduling & Fees
Nikah appointments are scheduled based on availability. A modest administrative fee may apply to support the masjid’s services and staff time.
