According to the Shura Council, Ramadan 2026 is expected to begin at sunset on Tuesday, February 17, with the first day of fasting on Wednesday, February 18, insha’Allah, pending moon sighting.

🧭 Parking & Arrival Guidelines
Parking at 1038 W. Linden Street is limited. Please arrive early and carpool when possible.
Additional parking is available across the street at 1045 W. Linden Street.
To ensure safety for all:
Do not block fire lanes, entrances, or exits
No double‑parking
Vehicles violating safety guidelines will be towed at the owner’s expense

How long do Taraweeh prayers take?
Taraweeh prayers at ICR take approximately 2 hours each night.
Is there babysitting during Taraweeh or other Ramadan programs?
No, the Islamic Center of Riverside does not provide onsite babysitting. Parents are kindly asked to supervise their children at all times.
Is there a separate area for mothers with small children?
There is a sisters’ section downstairs and another upstairs, but there is no dedicated area specifically for mothers with small children. Families are welcome to use either section while ensuring children remain supervised.
Are children allowed in the prayer hall?
Yes, children are welcome. We kindly ask parents to help maintain a peaceful environment for all worshippers.
Is there a designated area for women?
Yes — women’s prayer areas are available both downstairs and upstairs.
Can I reserve space or hold spots for others?
To ensure fairness, we ask that worshippers do not reserve or hold spots.
Can I bring food to share?
Please follow posted guidelines for potluck items, labeling, and serving.
