A Small Sadaqah Every Friday
The Prophet ﷺ taught us that Allah loves deeds that are done consistently, even if they are small.
ʿAishah رضي الله عنها reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“The most beloved deeds to Allah are those that are consistent, even if they are small.”
(Bukhari and Muslim)
Many of us wish to give more in charity, but sometimes we wait for the perfect opportunity, a larger amount, or a special occasion. Islam teaches us a different approach: small acts of goodness performed regularly can become a source of tremendous reward.
Friday is the best day of the week—a day filled with blessings, duʿa, remembrance, and gathering as a community. What better habit to establish than giving a small sadaqah every Friday for the sake of Allah?
Whether it is $5, $10, or any amount you can give consistently, your contribution helps support your masjid and its programs while building a lasting habit of generosity. Over time, these small weekly acts can accumulate into thousands of dollars in charity and, more importantly, countless hasanat recorded with Allah.
Your masjid is pleased to provide this opportunity for ongoing reward. By making Friday sadaqah a regular practice, you can be among those whose deeds are beloved to Allah because they are done faithfully and consistently.
This Jumu'ah, take a moment to give—even if it is a small amount—and ask Allah to make it a means of barakah in your wealth, purification of your heart, and a source of light on the Day of Judgment.
May Allah accept our charity, multiply our rewards, and make us among those who are constant in doing good. Ameen.
